The Best Way To Eliminate A Bed Bug Infestation Is By Turning To A Pest Control Expert.

Bed bugs—as their name suggests—are commonly found in beds and furniture, as well as picture frames and even electrical sockets. They are a type of parasitic insect which bite, leaving itchy, swollen bite marks on unsuspecting humans. Because they can live without food for prolonged periods, bed bugs are difficult to get rid of and can live in your furniture for a prolonged time.

You may be stressed out, even traumatized, over your bed bug problem. You’re not alone. We’ve found that bed bugs are among the most stressful and unpleasant types of pest infestations that any homeowner or business owner will ever deal with.

But you don’t need to worry for a minute longer. Good Life Pest Solutions has many years of first-hand experience eliminating even the toughest bed bug infestations. There is no infestation too big or too small for us. We take the guesswork out of eliminating these tough pests: we know where bed bugs hide out, and how to eliminate the problem at the source so it never returns.

Of All Common House Pests, Bed Bugs Are One Of The Best At Evading Detection Look For Common Signs Of Their Presence.

Bed bugs are tiny, oval-shaped, and usually red or brown in color. They often hunker down in box springs, headboards, and bedframes. We may not actually see the bed bug itself when inspecting your home for bed bugs, instead looking for other signs of their presence:

  • Brown flecks of parasite fecal matter

  • Spots of blood on sheets

  • Exoskeleton sheds that bed bugs leave behind as they grow

  • Bad odors emanating from furniture

If you notice bite marks on your body after a night of sleep, you may have bed bugs. Fortunately, they are unlikely to carry any disease, but their bites can cause skin irritation and other health issues. Talk to a doctor about any case of suspected bed bug bites.

We Can Give You Peace Of Mind, Even If You’re Not Sure If You Have A Bed Bug Infestation!

Many people are hesitant to contact an exterminator, as they aren’t 100% sure they have a bed bug problem, or are hesitant to admit it. Other types of pest infestations—such as ants, roaches and rodents—are typically pretty obvious. But bed bugs are secretive, and many people aren’t familiar with their appearance, complicated life cycle, or the signs they leave behind.

Odds are that you have your suspicions that you have bed bugs in your home or business, based on a fleeting glimpse of a bug, debris found on the edges of your mattress, or itchy and unpleasant bite marks. But how do you confirm for certain whether bed bugs are the culprit?

That’s where we come in. Our experienced exterminators know exactly where to look for signs of bed bugs, how to trace the evidence back to the source, and how to permanently eliminate the problem.

Bed Bug Treatment Options

Thoroughly cleaning your home by washing sheets in hot water, vacuuming the floor and any small crevices (and emptying the vacuum canister outdoors!), and disinfecting surfaces is a good start to eliminating bed bugs. But the fact remains that they are hardy pests that almost always require professional treatment—that’s where we come in, with effective methods to eliminate your bed bug infestation.

Insecticide Spray
& Aerosols:

We most often use chemical sprays and aerosols formulated specifically to eliminate bed bugs. We’ll target the known location of the infestation and thoroughly treat all items in the vicinity: mattress, bed frame, headboard, boxspring, night stands, tables, dressers, and more. Our goal is to apply the insecticide to every possible hiding place in order to eliminate the pests. Dust insecticide is especially effective, as it can be used to kill bed bugs in tight cracks and crevices.

Heat
Treatment:

Regarded as one of the most effective ways to eliminate bed bugs, heat treatments are a chemical-free, non-toxic, environmentally friendly treatment option. Portable heaters are placed in the room where the infestation is occurring. They heat the space to above 120°F for two to three hours, killing the bed bugs no matter where they’re hidden. Perhaps the best aspect of bed bug heat treatment is that there is no need to dispose of linens or furniture—once the heat treatment is done, just wash sheets and disinfect surfaces.

Steam Foam:

Steam treatment, like heat treatment, delivers lethal heat to eliminate bed bugs. This treatment is especially useful if bed bugs are in tiny crevices and other such places, as the steam can penetrate their hiding spot. This can be used in conjunction with insecticide treatment, as bed bugs are more likely to expose themselves once heat or steam is applied.

Fumigation:

Fumigating your home involves covering your property in an airtight tarpaulin and releasing a deadly fumigant designed to kill these stubborn pests. This may be used for particularly bad infestations in which localized treatment is not enough.
